While grey colours have been the focus of the last several years, in 2017 the trend is towards a variety of cool neutral paint colours.  Think pale blue, soft rose and muted green.  These are all colours that complement a pop of vibrant colour so that you could paint a living room in a cool blue and add some bright yellow pillows to your sofa or a throw.

The colour palettes for 2017 reflect a desire for some fun along with the need for rest and relaxation.  So feel free to get creative and break the rules a little bit by combining contrasting muted colours with bold vibrant ones when decorating.
