How to Fix Large Holes in Walls For Re-painting

In our previous post we showed you how you can fix small holes in walls.  Now, you will probably also want to know ho to fix larger holes.  These large holes may have been caused when moving large furniture or by rowdy teenagers.  Whatever the case, you can fill in these holes easily, achieve a smooth surface and repaint to that the wall looks as good as new.

You will need a mesh patch from the paint store or hardware store, plaster, a spatula and time to allow the patch to dry.  Make sure that you allow the plaster to dry completely and then you can sand down the surface, paint the patched area with primer and then re-paint your wall.
