If you neglect the painting and caulking on the exterior of your home when it needs it, over time the wood will become damaged by the elements and may even start to rot, costing you thousands in repairs.

An exterior painting job that’s done properly should include scraping and/or sanding the old flaking paint and finally, priming the areas before putting on a new coat of quality paint that is formulated to last and protect your home’s exterior from the elements.

With Kitchener Waterloo Painters, we will start by booking an in home meeting with you to discuss your needs and do a walk around your property to inspect any minor repairs or prep that may need to done such as scraping or sanding as well as determine specific equipment needs to complete the job.

Next we will provide you with a detailed written quote showing the work that needs to be done, the approximate length of time to completion and the total cost include paint, labour and other materials.

After that, if you decide to go ahead, we will book a date that works best to begin the work.  Rain days are a problem because wet weather interrupts our ability to paint.  So, we ask for some flexibility in being able to do some painting on the week-ends if needed.

Since exterior painting requires daytime and nighttime temperatures to reach 10 degrees celcius at minimum for the paint to adhere properly, we generally only offer exterior painting from approximately mid-May to mid-October.
