How Not to Paint Your House – DIY House Painting
Although professional painters have slight variations in how they do things, there are some universal laws that all of them follow. For example, never use latex paint overtop of oil paint (it won’t adhere), never do exterior painting in less than 10 degrees Celcius weather (again, the paint won’t stick to the surface properly), never paint over wallpaper (it’s near impossible to get the wallpaper off without damaging the drywall if you ever want to take it down in the future) and, never use explosives for your DIY project!
